Hello, my name is Nathan Cherry. I am the Connection Pastor at New Hope Church. Let me share a little about myself to help you get to know me better, and hopefully I will get to know you as well.

I spent most of my life in Ohio before heading to Liberty University to study theology. I graduated from Liberty with an Associates degree in Theology before moving to West Virginia. I then earned an Associates degree in Biblical Counseling, Bachelor’s in Theology, and Master’s in Theology from Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburg, In. (I'm looking forward to pursuing my Doctorate studies, but I'll do that after a break from school)

I met and married Bonnie in 2005 and we welcomed our son Judah in 2008. This year we welcomed our daugher, Esther, into our family. Bonnie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Antietam Bible College in Hagerstown, Md.

In our spare time Bonnie and I enjoy getting together with friends to play games, or watching movies. I play golf as often as possible and watch sports maybe a little too much.  I also  enjoy collecting coins and building model cars. Bonnie enjoys reading, cooking and baking, and helping with many of the ministries at New Hope. You can find both of us on Facebook.

As the Connection Pastor I work to connect people with other like-minded individuals in places of service and ministry. I oversee the Connection Groups, teach discipleship, and lead the audio visual and music ministries for New Hope.
